I posted a new digital art piece last night. It was a piece I did from a tutorial (tut can be found in a link under comment of the piece) I found. I used Gimp (freeware, open source photoshop application) and my Intuos4 graphics tablet. I think it turned out pretty well and I plan on doing a number of other tutorials in days to come. I have been thinking about taking some art classes at the University here and have emailed a professor regarding information on classes, etc. I am still consistently looking at previously drawn pictures to create my own pieces but I am going to start practicing to put my thoughts on paper. I just want to learn the basics first before I move on. I hope everyone viewing my pieces enjoys them as much as I did creating them. I should be finishing up the samurai with all the shading and detail work soon. As soon as I do, it will be posted.
